Another reason to dislike the old golden boys.  May their first play be a fumble!

Have no problem with him looking out for his future. You dont get many opportunities to coach at Notre Dame. He would be an indiot to say no thanks and hope that USF wins 6 games to save his job here. Happy for Densen as he made the right move.

Its just the perception. Not considering whether he was a good coach or not. I assume good judgement was used when hiring him.

CWT?

My thoughts as well.

Spoke with CWT at Women's BB game tonight and he said that he will be coaching the RB's. He's not in a hurry to hire another RB coach.

Would be cool if he would stick to the RB's and bring in a real OC as his boss...

Asked him same thing at the baseball game and got the same answer.  At least he's consistent.  Actually said between him and a GA they would have it covered.

The man sure is confident in his abilities. As pessimistic as I am with him, I sure hope he's able to right the ship this year.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
