If Mike White can calmly go through his progressions, instead of keying in immediately on his primary receiver, he'll be starting next season. He's got to know this offense pretty well by now.

Flowers is the one Willie wants--he really wants a dual-threat (and what USF fan wouldn't love to have that again!) but QF is sooooo green I think it'll be White. QF would need to have a miraculous offseason to improve as much as needed for a QB. Til then, he's really just a gimmick so I think it's either a JUCO standout or MW.

When Mike White is right, he's very very good. Let's remember he was unstoppable at times. Not nearly enough. But barring and absolute superstar coming in, white will be the guy. Get used to it. He'll be a junior and could put it all together.

If we get within 2 weeks of the first game, and we don't have a named starter due to "competition" or a "3 way tie", then you can expect a repeat of 2014 (and 2013) at QB, and that will be a disaster. If CWT makes a last minute decision, it will be Flowers. He seems to really want Flowers to have the job. If nobody emerges as a clear undisputed starter, we are in trouble.

Funny thing is some people were calling for gregory to start..that would have been hilarious.

The future is Flowers or a Juco stud. White will make a good solid backup unless he improves a great amount.

My concern is Flowers isn't as good as he needs to be and we don't get a great juco qb. If that happens I'm afraid it's another 4 win season.
