I understand UAB is no powerhouse, but maybe, just maybe we could offer the 1 or 2 decent players they had. They will be allowed to transfer and play immediately. We need all the help we can get! Yup, came from Jacksonville State, a good FCS team, and whom had an upset of one of the Mississippi schools. Also, **** Alabama for forcing this on UAB.

Also, their return man is Playstation worthy with four TDs on kick returns.

Especially with at least tWO AL FCS teams moving up to FBS in the last 10 yrs - South AL & Troy

Would we really want to go after him? Not saying he's not a good coach, he very well may be a home run but he's had 1 year in FCS and 1 year in FBS. We've already tried the up and coming G5 coach route. I thought the prevailing notion was go after a successful P5 coordinator or poach a proven, top-notch G5 HC. Really a crumby deal for UAB alums. Especially with at least tWO AL FCS teams moving up to FBS in the last 10 yrs - South AL & Troy Worse than that. Eleven teams have joined FBS in the last ten years: FAU, FIU, WKU, UMass, USA, TSU, UTSA, GSU (Ga St), ASU, GSU (Ga So), ODU, and Charlotte set to join next year I believe.
