The biggest issue for this team continues to be the OL. They are wimps who haven't been able to move anyone off the ball on any down and distance. They will need lots of weight room in the offseason. I'm thankful several are moving on.

The biggest problem is the design of most of the offensive plays and the offensive coaching across the board from teaching to schemes to play calling.

You saw it demonstrated today. UCF struggled to run, but their coaches put the QB in position to make easy plays. Their receivers ran correct routes to make first downs and their coaching staff made adjustments.

Our adjustments on offense amount to whether we run between the tackles from the left side of the QB or right side and whether the handoff comes from under center or shotgun.

Did you see coach throw the punch in the end zone. He was wearing 47. Fire tags for the punch. He knows better than that.

Emotion reigns supreme in our society. From players, to coaches to fans. Fire Genshaft!

 

THe head coach owns the actions of his players. We aren't firing him - that much is nearly certain. BUt that is really only because there was little he could do this season to get fired. That being said I think next season is win or go home for him.

It's pretty clear to me that coaching is the biggest problem, and we're apparently doing nothing about it this offseason. Instead, we're going to waste another year to prove it. Then fire him, and then hire another project coach, because we don't have any money and aren't in a P5 conference.
