Don't we have Adams back next year?

Sorry but loss of Welch and Davis isnt that huge.

Yes, Adams is back as well. Just mentioning Legree, as Bulls need more than one go-to WR to go with Adams.

As for Davis and Welch, yeah, I've not been overly impressed; however, both are starters, so I assume that coaches believe that no one else is better on the team currently. So, by virtue of that situation, one would have to say that their graduation will be a loss.

Like you (I suspect), Davis has not impressed me due to his inability to consistently get open and to make catches in a crowd. His great when he's open and unchallenged, but other wise, to me, he hasn't displayed any gaming-breaking all-star talent.

I agree when he is open he is great but he can go quarters being very quiet.

Welch well he has dropped more passes than caught.

McCants is the guy I really want to see.

Davis is pretty much owner of every receiver statistic that matters and he's being talked about as some slouch.

Let's just ignore he's done this with arguably the worst group of QB's any receiver has had to deal with (relative to the talent they were playing against).

+1 Props to Davis for doing so well in a difficult time, but I really would have liked to see more maturity out of him. As we as he's done, I do feel he had a higher ceiling than we saw.

Maybe a bit of mentoring from his coaches would have helped??

Welch must run great routes. Guy is always open. Now the catching part......

Still looks a bit confused out there. Hate that we burned his redshirt for such little playing time. Same for Flowers.

As for Bronson the problem was that one of the freshmen was likely to have to play when Davis got hurt. After Davis and Welch we had Duval (walk on) Dungy (transfer) and Adams (transfer) and of those only Adams stretches the field.

Did we burn his redshirt? The kid only played like 1 series?

Then it's burned, unless he's hurt.

Redshirts aren't applied for until after the season is over right? In that case, that "ankle injury" he sustained in "practice" could have kept him out and preserve that redshirt, no?
