People put WAYYYYY too much stock into a coach's post-game comments. +1 If he gives a quick summary people will post: What? This is the deepest insight our coach can glean from the game? We didn't do well? If the coaching job opens up, I'm applying, because I would love to make 7 figures to say "well, we didn't do well tonight, that's all I got" Infuriating! If he provides a detailed 10 page written report, people (probably the same posters) will respond with "I don't care what he says... SHOW ME" They'll complain no matter what

Scary because I remember the same thing when I started to tune out Holtz near the end. It's looking more and more like he got Lucky in Tulsa...I hope that's not the case, but as someone pointed out on the board, Tulsa may have been taggart's Nevada. You think they will get on their knees and beg for mercy? You're right. Nothing they can say that wouldn't be met with criticism. More frequent wins would make the occasional loss not as bad. You think they will get on their knees and beg for mercy? I EXPECT him to say, "it was a great win, and we're all very happy tonight" Duh. He has no experience winning as a HC at this level of competition and is making it up as he goes. Just like the last coach.
