If we lose the rest of the games I would fire him.

But as soon as I had ink on paper for someone with an offense like Chip Kelly, Taggs is gone.

Need to find some more juco talent on offense. Also need to stop hiring the Jim Harbaugh throw away assistants to coach for us. Look for up and comers in the college ranks for assistant coaches

If we win 2 more games and finish at 5-7 he gets another full year. If we win only one more game and it's against UCF, he gets another full year. If we win only one more game (not UCF) or zero more games then CWT will have to stay above .500 next year to keep his job

We HAVE on, and Taggs won't let him do his job. Scuttlebutt is taggs is overriding him again. If I was the OC, I'd be looking for a scholl where they actually let me do what the hired me to do. Who knows maybe he's telling CB what to run. If he doesn't agree to have a major change in offensive philosophy (and I believe he won't) then he gets put on a very short leash. His offensive philosophy will not work here enough to win games consistently. Remember, Woolard hired Willie knowing what type of offense he would run. He may have never got past the first interview with Harlan talking about the power O. Putting butts in the seats is about winning, but it's also about putting an entertaining product on the field and right now we can't check either of those boxes. He's 20 games in and has a .250 win percentage and 2 of his 5 wins are to the same crappy program, UConn. He's lost to an FCS program and lost our winning streak vs UCF. This fanbase is dwindling with every boring unimaginiative loss. Harlan needs to #dosomething Edited October 26, 2014 by El_Toro_86
