Flowers against that Cincinnati run defense was a perfect fit. One of the worst in the country, have him back there running the read option we would've scored more than three points in the first three quarters of the game

Houston last i checked has a top ten defense. Maybe top 20. Also a ball-hawking squad.

We will not beat them. We may not score

Maybe that would be the best outcome. Might convince Taggs his ideas don't work, and he needs to change them.

He's not changing squat

Just checked the stats. Houston is 21st in total defense with a +7 turnover margin. The numbers do not look good for us

Sorry but that is just dumb.

We still have a chance to make a bowl game. The Houston game is HUGE.

You dont just give up on the season because of a horrible game. Now, if we get to 7 losses you might have a case.

We haven't had ONE horrible game, we've had EIGHT of them.

Not once have we put together a decent game. Even the games we won were horrible.

Amen.

If only CWT would look into the mirror and repeat this to himself.

"....These spread teams, you're going to give up some yards. They're pretty good for a reason...you just try to minimize how much you give up and try not to let them score touchdowns."*

He is an overwhelmed clown; you accept that your defense will be put into tough situations because because of the spread offense but you continue to run an offense that hasn't given anyone sans Tulsa fits and that was only for one half and it wasn't worse than any other team that they have played. It would be nice if people had to play bend don't break against us but alas we can't even bend them. Get bent CWT.

Save your prayers, what has happened to this program since chokegate has caused me to lose faith ; unless it's the one true G-d of USF football CJL that you are praying to in which case may he have mercy on our souls.

We're not going to win another game this year. Even SMU will beat us like a rented mule. And even if we take one, it's a meaningless season now.

Time to start playing for next year, and White is clearly not it. Nor is Bench. Put Flowers in now, give him all the reps, and maybe - just maybe - he'll be half-decent to open the year next fall.

You mean like they did with White last year?  How'd that strategy work out?  ;)
