What happened to Flowers?

We're not going to win another game this year. Even SMU will beat us like a rented mule. And even if we take one, it's a meaningless season now.

Time to start playing for next year, and White is clearly not it. Nor is Bench. Put Flowers in now, give him all the reps, and maybe - just maybe - he'll be half-decent to open the year next fall.

You mean like they did with White last year? How'd that strategy work out?
