UCONN D was worn out, thanks to our O line & the RBs. I love the shot of Mack, after a great run, popped up and immediately found the O line and gave em all a pat on the helm. Yes, sir. Saw that early, and loved it. The O Line got called out, and Mack publicly praising them is true leadership...from a freshman. Impressive.

Very unselfish, mature and respectful on his part. I am sure that kind of attitude goes over really well with teammates. Agreed DEL, this kid is rapidly rising up my favorite Bulls chart as well. The others also are tough. We have depth and ability at the RB position for sure. Not fumbling in that weather, simply amazing.

We can't get away with that against better teams. I'm sure MOST of the issues were due to a heavy, soaked ball, so hopefully those drops are mitigated. I was glad to see Tice out there, running hard. Swanson had some impressive blocks, as well (and a few nice catches by RBs is good to see). D Johnson ran hard as well, with some nice pick ups. Running opens play action, which we desperately need. And, we have to keep the DL guessing. They still plugged up for Mack, and we have to loosen them up. BTW, the 17 yd draw on 3rd & 16 to set up the FG was the biggest play in the 2nd half. Great moves by Mack, and a perfect seal block by MCFarland to allow Mack room to pick up the first. Tough test vs Wisconsin, we do have speed need to use it to our advantage.
