I still believe we can win the aac with a servicable qb and oline....call me a fool and dont ask where we are gonna find them things but i will be there Friday night hoping to see us start that quest

Really hoping we find the way. winning even just 5 of our conference matches would make me feel good about this season.

WKU does not matter to us...

 

Even Skip Holtz could pull some big wins at WKU... (*cough LTech)

He didn't need to--he had a pretty impressive resume at ECU. ECU & WKU both had less potential and yet they turned into gems. It's only when they get to USF that they struggle.

 

 

This guy sucks and I'm growing tired of his gimmicks.

What gimmicks would those be? Everything he's done so far looks like a desperate attempt to create a team.

You do realize this is the post in question, right?

Why stop with the AAC? A 2 loss team has won the national championship in the past. Frankly, I'm a little disappointed our head coach doesn't set higher goals for the team.

There was absolutely no sarcasm in my post...

USF can win the AAC. "Can"...meaning, possible...not probable, but possible. Friday night will be quite telling. I can't imagine what sort of impact a loss (within the realm of possibility as well) would have on this program. It's not often that a coach uses the word "fragile" in describing his team. There's that comment that we need wins...at this point any win. 

 

It is, and will be for a time to come, uphill all the way. I just hope that Friday night works out for us.

This is what you say when attendance stinks and conference play is about to open up.

 

The AAC is garbage. . . . . nobody cares who wins it.

 

 

 

Attendance will be a full blown crisis within 45 days.
