2 games in, only difference in QB play is no sdropped snaps and offense not creating TDs for the other team.

This offense is totally inept. I see little improvement other than reduced penalties.

Steven Bench reminds me of Tony Romo. 4th quarter ints in almost every game he has been in. This time it was when we had a chance to tie/win.

As a Cowboys fan, I thought the same thing.  Sparks are athletic, big time plays, followed by clutch fails.  That INT was silly.  Can't even throw it out of bounds?

 

Maybe worse, was his last play.  4th & 11, and he throw to a sliding Price.  Didn't matter if he caught it or not.  Plenty of areas to point for this loss.

 

The stupid holding call v Threatt that wiped out a nice gain by Adams may've killed us.  A DE as a deep blocker on punts seems silly, especially if he's getting pushed back.

 

MD's D gets credit for smothering Mack (who still managed 70+ yards) and harrassing Bench.  I think the O-line actually did a good job pass blocking most of the night, but almost no push on the run.

 

Tough loss.  But looks like NC State, SMU, Houston and UConn are train wrecks.  So, we'd have to be HORRIBLE not to win 6 this year.

It was a Big Ten officiating crew so we weren't going to get any breaks from them. What I don't understand is why we wouldn't have an AAC crew when we are at home unless we get one next year at their place

Don't see that happening now that it looks like White is done for a while with a fx wrist.
