Some other things to put in perspective:

1.) 4 offensive TDs last night, we had 11 last year...total

2.) 4 rushing TDs last night. We had 4 last year, total.

3.) We won our home opener, last year...we did not

4.) At one point we were up 30-17, if the game ended there...would people have been satisfied?

That is right. Next week a different game and new new issues

I don't expect slick to understand anything that's posted, unless it agrees with his views 100%.

Dunkley - nice job on his first start:  B+

The "other" CB opposite Dunkely:  D

Don't forget

Ciabatti  A+++

If he keeps punting like that he'll be in the NFL for a long time.

Now that I've slept on it, I'm not nearly as upset as I was last night.

It was many of our players first college game ever. We went down quickly but after that the defense held them while Mack got us back in the game. White was 5-19 in the first half and 4-8 in the second half. Obviously not where we want to be but it could have gone much worse.

We DID find a running back in Mack. Rodney Adams looked good. As did some members of our D.

Lastly, we certainly weren't the only fbs team to half a close call last night. WCU will not be a 2-10 this year.

I fully expect a loss from Maryland. However, the score of their first game is misleading. Their offense wasn't much better than ours.

Was Maryland playing WCU or any team with their record??

0-0? I get that WCU was 2-10 last year. That was last year.

You realize that This FCS powerhouse beat Elon in OT and Mars Hill ( whoever that is) last year. I know we all want to blame CSH for recruiting ,but was his recruiting only 5 points better than the worse team in FCS. If this had been McNeese State we would be putting up a "L", but will take the the win since we are now tied with FSU and BCC for best record in the state at 1-0. Go a Bulls!!!

You guys are failing to recognize that this is all part of Willie's brilliant rope-a-dope strategy.

We have a winning record for the first time in over a year. Enjoy it while it lasts. Will have to go back to one of smazza's hundreds of posts on the subject though. We will only go as far as the QB takes us. White hits at least 50% of those throws and it would of been a totally different game. Receivers were open throughout the night but I have no idea where White was throwing to.

All this ******** over a win, I can't imagine what this board will look like when we lose our first game.

It will only be 6 days until our first loss. So you will find out soon. I think the true test will be ncst who is not very good either.

You can't say we're going to lose to Maryland, because we don't know enough about our team yet. You can say, that if we play like we did Saturday night, they'll be resting their starters in the 4th.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
