In the Pledge of Allegiance we all pledge allegiance to our Republic, not to a democracy. "Republic" is the proper description of our government, not "democracy."

You are killing it today. Keep up the solid effort in both arguments.

You forgot the sarcasm font... #jussayin

Who's being sarcastic? Ned is on fire blowing people's arguments up with rock solid counterpoints.

I think this post might make him run out of Kleenex and Jergens.

Whether money flows straight to the Glazers or to the TSA and then the Glazers, it ends up at the same place.  Personally I would rather keep it in my pocket instead of giving it to Malcom and his boys, so I try not to buy any concessions at the games (but my wife has other ideas).

And a virtually endless supply of other articles and official docs as well...

It's sad that public discourse (of which this board is just a microcosm) has degraded to such a point that rather than discussing the substantive merits of a position or action, people just scream that your (well documented, undisputed) facts are wrong.  Not saying that I never take a position driven by emotion, passion, or immaturity, but this conversation has clearly reached the point that I could say the earth is round and he would disagree because he is so entrenched he just can't take a step back and admit that he was mistaken about what was, in essence, a relatively minor point.

Sorry for the rant (and pissing match); I just find this so disheartening.

That's why even when you are surely right, sometimes it still feels like you bend over and take it up the tail pipe.  And yes, it is well-documented that the Glazers get the dough, but I have neither the patience nor the right mind to substantiate it on this board.

Ned,

I know nothing about a lawsuit, my article clearly states that the Glazers profit off of USF events at Ray Jay.

We are republic, not sure how my articles were trying to dispute that. However, our society is now governed by UCC's, not on the basis of a Republic.

I must be going blind, because I don't see mention of USF in either of your links, much less mention of USF being involved in a lawsuit with the Glazers.

Does this help Ned?

To be fair, Malcolm is no longer benefiting from the money.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
