Sold out WV game

That moment at Auburn when stadium went dead silent

Beating ND after six hours...

Silent moment at Auburn ... Was that after Delberts FG to tie?

No, when Grothe's pass was in the air...

Gotcha. Remember some silence in the stadium after that FG and after we calmed down a bit too, but the Grothe pass for sure.

It's great that it's hard to pick a top 3.

1.  Win over FSU, in Tally.  Lejiste silenced the Noles crowd with his epic hit, and BJ made the Noles D look silly.  USF's D had one of its best games ever, in what likely accelerated the push to dump Bowden.

2.  Win over ND, in South Bend.  The Mecca of college football. Watching KWebster race toward Touchdown Jesus while our small wedge of Bulls fans screamed will forever remain a vivid memory.  The 6 hour endurance contest got scary late, as ND made a huge push to win, but we held on for a huge win.

3.  Win over WVU,  in Morgantown (2006).  I was with my in-laws, visiting for Thanksgiving.  None of them thought we had a chance, but when Selvie scooped & scored, the Mountaineer faithful got quiet quick.

Close next:  Win over Clemson.  OT win v UCF. OT win v Miami.

I rank these because winning on the road against favored teams is special (wish I'd gone to the Auburn game!).  Getting to listen to the home team give you grief before the game, then getting to mill about the wounded masses is icing on the cake.  I will say, all fans of the top 3 (and Clemson) were classy before & after, with few exception.  Canes & Knight fans...not so much.

Nice to take that trip down memory lane.  Hopefully the future will bring some big wins to bump those 3 down the list.  GO BULLS!

Being 7-0 in overtime was a nice memory.

BleedGreen&Gold made a great OT graphic with the text "If it's overtime you've already lost"

Is he still around?

I only recently stopped using that graphic in my personal email signature. He had given me permission to use it.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
