Good luck to him.  I was at the UConn game when he carried 1/2 the UConn D for 10+ yards to avoid having to punt...and maybe saving us from giving UConn a short field. It certainly pumped the team. 

 

 

I remember that too ... hands down the best play he had during his brief stint here (I say brief because he didn't see the field that much).

Good luck. I was surprised no RB transferred out after our recruiting. But I guess this answers that

I didn't see this one coming.  I thought he'd be looking at more PT this year.  Though at some point there has to be a recognition that we now have a boatload of RBs and only one gets on the field at any given time.  Really I'm surprised we've been able to sign as many RBs as we have.  There's quite the log jam.

 

Me either, I thought he did pretty well for his first season. Hopefully it means our stable is stocked.

 

I could be wrong, but I thought I recalled a Tweet months ago tying him to a discipline issue.  Could be a result of that.

Maybe this nebulous news was what I recall.  Kinda mysterious.  We may never know, but perhaps he left the team a while ago, and this is just the formal release.

I do hope we have a stable of backs to carry, but we're far from stacked in terms of experience.

 

 

I was watching that play from the other end of the field and even from all the way over there it looked ridiculously awesome.

Come on man,  You know the rules.  It's only quitting if they leave USF to go somewhere else.  Quitting Leaving another school to come to USF is being intelligent.
