If they don't schedule the middle-to-upper tier Group of 5 teams then there is no way that a Go5 team can make the playoffs. Exactly my thoughts. Boise would've made the Playoffs in the past. But take their one big OOC game out and they wouldn't be in the top 5, maybe not top 10. If teams with any reasonable expectation of future success don't play any real p5 teams there's no argument to make the Playoffs. They're actively trying to keep us out now.
