Not to keen on assistants for this hire...

My thoughts exactly.   We need a winning HC with sustained success not a "great recruiter" with potential for success.  That's what we have right now in one Willie Taggart and other than a great recruiting class we're last in the AAC.

Does the one they're honed in on fit that description?

Yep

Presently employed as an HC?

Yep

God I hope you are not talking about Amaker. That guy has the personality of a tree.

Nope

You didn't answer my last q ...

Doesn't matter, he went to VaTech.  USF, as predicted, is scrambling and will end up being the ugly stepsister at the dance.  Welcome to being a USF BBall fan.  Hey, it takes an iron constitution and is a pride swallowing siege every time you're at the Sun Dome.  GO BULLS!!

USF’s search is now basically down to ASU assistant Eric Musselman and UK assistant Orlando Antigua, sources told @CBSSports. Story coming.

Dude. We're USF basketball. Not sure why our fanbase seems to believe this is some insanely great job.

Our budget is a little more than a million, go find the best man for this gig. Current coach or assistant. We'd all love some big splash hire, but its not happening.
