Joey Knight says this name is now popping up.

Where?

Heah.

Joey Knight @TBTimes_Bulls

New name I've heard in #USF hoops coach search: Kentucky asst Orlando Antigua. In 2012, ESPN named him nation's top asst under 40

No, where is it popping up in the search that Joey would know? It's been said the search firm affords privacy. Do we have a leaker? is Bull Daly feeding him?

Joey Knight says this name is now popping up. Must have reached an impasse with Buzz

Correct title to UK.

ps- He is a former Harlem Globetrotter nicknamed "Hurricane".  Ruh roh.

ESPN ranked him as the no 1 Asst HC in US last year. He is a recruiting monster as well

You'd have to be comatose to NOT be a recruiting monster at UK .... I'd prefer someone with more experience recruiting at our level.

You're wrong, you still have to have a skill at it and major connections which Calipari has to do what he is doing at UK and Memphis before that.

I'm not 100% certain, but I don't think Calipari would be coming with him ...

Johnny Raincloud strikes again... boooooooooo

I feel it's my duty to nip these things in the bud ...

Well then isn't also your duty to pay attention or is that asking for to much?

Again, ALL of John Calipari assistants have proved they know how to recruit. One more time, all Calipari assistants have proved that they can recruit. I've met Coach Cal in person and heard him talk many times, he seeks out coaches that know how to recruit. The coaching of these men has been is question, but not the recruiting ability.

Anyway I don't know why I try sometimes, let the video explain it better for the two above.

I'll even take rod Strickland

Orlando has been on that bench for years and a noticeable asst.

Just hire someone people know. We haven't made a charisma hire ever. We aren't known and need someone who is to recruit.

Gran some wiz asst for the bulk of the x and os

The Director of Basketball operations/Associate AD at Kentucky is Chis Woolard(Doug Woolard's son). There has to to be some insight going both ways about the USF job and Orlando Antigua. Some UK fans do not want to lose their Coach O to a job like USF because they think he can do better.

Lee Rose and Skippy Holtzfrau beg to differ.

Not to keen on assistants for this hire...

Not sure we can afford to have an assistant coach. We need a proven head coach that has turned losers into winners. Otherwise we should have let Heath coach next season and bring in a coach in waiting.

My thoughts exactly.   We need a winning HC with sustained success not a "great recruiter" with potential for success.  That's what we have right now in one Willie Taggart and other than a great recruiting class we're last in the AAC.
