It is.

But it will suck watching him rise through the coaching ranks once this fluke incident passes.

When he's winning 20 games a year for another school and we're getting outschemed by East Carolina at home in front of 2500 people because we hired Stan Heath 2.0.

Get comfortable with that thought because it will happen that way.

Not sure what you think we should do, or should have done about this.

Life can be a *****, get over it.

You can pretty much predict that USF fans will be crying when they see Pearl or Coach Mas win in the future. They will say, see USF you could have had them as a coach. So I have already braced myself for that whinning to come. USF is one of the few schools that wont look the other way when that coach has a shady past. Just never been that way at USF. If it was like that, then USF would have won tons more games. We live by our core values. Mr Ramil, Mr Gillete, Mr Charles, etc would never accept a coach that has bad ethics.

IIRC both state law and the university require college degrees so the NCAA is third in the list of importance

Actually 4th, behind Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

One wouldn't, one couldn't ...Neither was going to be coach here.

Could have fooled me by your original nihilistic post, but if you want to live in denial, that's your prerogative.

Me sit this thread out?

I never accused you of losing sleep over the search. I didn't even bring Judy up, you just did. You were the one wallowing in pity, not me. Maybe you should go over to the Bull Bronies club, you will probably find some like-minded individuals there.

  • Quotes

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22

"He is a young and extremely gifted offensive mind, a developer of high-level talent and an elite national recruiter who brings the experience of having played an integral role from the beginning in helping to build one of the most successful programs in college football."
