With that said he was never going to play here this year anyway unless we had major injuries or we tank as bad as last season.  Floyd wont land at a Power 5 school in any starting capacity.  Just doesn't have enough talent to compete at that level.

I wouldn't say never. I remember when much the same was said of Doug Williams at the Bucs. With the right coaches and tools, you never know.

He remained team captain all season, and I never heard a bad word from him.  Hard to wish him anything but good luck, at football and as a USF grad.
