GA would be great because it would get his foot in the door.  Would be great to have the "Human Grothe Hormone" at USF in a GA capacity.

 

I agree that he's not a QB coach - yet.

Grothe for the actual coach position would be a head scratcher. As GA while Blackwell moves up as Hem says would be a great move IMO.

Bobby Eveld's sister was hinting at something similar on Facebook this morning.

Her post: "I don't know what the question is, but Matt Grothe is the answer! Haha good look on your interview today and GO BULLS!"

Egads! I really hope that you know Bobby Eveld's sister for some reason other than you were stalking her to find out info on the football program. :)

Why, yes I do. We were in student government senate together. Lol.

Def would love Grothe on the team in ANY capacity! Guy LOVES USF football and I'm sure would be great at recruiting

I kinda do too. But you know what they say, those that can't....teach.  There have been people who were much better coaches than players. Not saying Grothe wasn't great, but he had his moments. But that may have been the OC or QB coach too.

I don't subscribe to that, but this is a rare moment that slick actually DIDN'T pull something out of his ass. I have the utmost respect for teachers. My mom has been one for almost 25 years.

I thought about this too, but it would mean giving up a secure job I love and have been at for almost 6 years, and moving my family into an uncertain profession. Just not really sure I'm ready to make the jump ...

... Oh, wait ... Did you mean "graduate assistant?" Man, I'm so embarrassed ...
