That's good that he's announced.  He can call and speak with recruits while still coaching the Niners.  Without being an official employee at USF, he wouldn't be able to do that

I think we would complain if one of our rivals did this. Should we give ourselves a pass where we would forbid others to go?

I really like the fact we went to the 49ers for help. Hope he is a motivator and an idea bringer.

Agreed, I'm looking to see the improvements on the O-line and hopefully he can be an asset on the sidelines

I don't see the conflict.  As far as I know the 49ers don't recruit high school kids.
