My readings of Twitter indicated some player unhappiness with the release of Wells and Sheridan.

 

I'm surprised if he's not already buying ice cream cones for some.

If you don't want your coaches getting fired do not be the most putrid part of a putrid 2-10 football team.

Although if someone is handing out ice cream with sprinkles I can figure out how to blame someone else.

Don't know if my contact is one of those you read on twitterverse but you are correct.  At least one is not happy and feels they were scapegoats.

Well of course there is some scapegoating. The other options being everyone comes back on the staff or cwt resigns in which case they all can look for new jobs. The perceived weakest links were fired.

How's this any different than teams in any organization which fail? The guy thay gets axed always thinks he's the fall guy for a group failure.
