My readings of Twitter indicated some player unhappiness with the release of Wells and Sheridan.

 

I'm surprised if he's not already buying ice cream cones for some.

 

Don't know if my contact is one of those you read on twitterverse but you are correct.  At least one is not happy and feels they were scapegoats.

 

 

 

Players had a part in this disaster.  If these coaches hung the moon, the players should not have sucked so bad.  An under-aged, over-matched roster of misfits played its arse off to save Rex Ryan's job in NY last month.

Well of course there is some scapegoating. The other options being everyone comes back on the staff or cwt resigns in which case they all can look for new jobs. The perceived weakest links were fired.

How's this any different than teams in any organization which fail? The guy thay gets axed always thinks he's the fall guy for a group failure.

 

 

If the AD has no accountability who does?  This may have filtered down to players over last few years.  No one has accountability and any punishment is unwarranted and "unfair" (said in whiny voice).

Obviously he's either having some fun, or is greatly exaggerating some piece of news he does know. There is nothing realistic that could be worth the hype he's giving it.
