Is it just me, or was Eveld's first ever game vs. Miami back in Skip's first year his best performance? Seems he hasn't progressed a bit. Hopefully Bench turns out to be at least a little better.

 

Agree with you about Eveld. Bench will be better. He already looks better than Eveld and can extend the plays.

Just a hunch, but I'll bet that Eveld is giving 100% on EVERY play he's in. I'll also bet that NOT EVERY other guy on the team can honestly say the same thing.

I think CT is very clear and correct about his current position regarding redshirts. You play whomever gives you the best shot at winning and make sure the player is onboard.

He really wasn't very good that game.  But he managed to avoid the big mistake and we got the win, so everyone was happy because he was a true freshman and disaster was expected.

 

I love the guy, a walk that's been able to fill in when needed and gut it out.  But he isn't a top tier QB for the type of program we wan to be.
