but i thought he didn't have much of a burst...

Kid looked good. Both him and Davis had a good day. The RBBC with Shaw out is working well.

And I thought you said Pierre was the next Andre Hall.

Never said that, but even the greats have bad games.

Pierre hasn't had a good game...

He will be a good guy to push the pile for us, but he has no vision. Doesn't make cuts, can't see the openings, just dives ahead for a few yards.

Shaw getting healthy, with Tice and Davis splitting carries will be very effective.

And average backs usually have at least a couple average games.

The best RBs are Shaw, Tice, and Davis.Shaw is shifty and quick, Tice is strong and has some moves, Davis just plows over people, like the Dump Truck. Pierre is number 4 until he shows something. He seems to run to darkness.

Fixed your post, it would have to be above average games, since combining those with a couple below average games comes out to ... average games.

As of right now he needs 6 above average games to break even.

For God's sake! Play Willie Davis! Tice looked good, but Willie Davis needs a bigger part in this season- he's better than he is being given credit for...

i second that

With Shaw gone after this year and Pierre (I'm not that impressed) gone after next season, that leaves Davis, Tice and McCray as the only RBs on this current roster.  I know that Bulls expect to sign a RB or two (better make it at minimum 2 and probably 3), but with the poor year that USF is having, there's a good chance that Taggart has a hard time holding onto a top RB or two this recruitment cycle?  USF cannot afford to swing and miss on signing solid WRs and RBs this recruitment cycle.

Just think how good the running game could be if we had a quality qb and wide receivers who could catch.

I think you left off an OL who can pass block.
