Pierre isn't as bad as you guys are making him out. He is a solid short yardage option. But agree not as promising as the others.

I'd like to see he, Shaw and Tice all lined up behind Bench on some sets together. Ball control run game.

Tice needs to earn more carries. WD should have earned the #2 spot with his two 3rd down runs alone. Davis is young. I agree it should be Davis and Tice until shaw gets back.

If all you need is one yard maybe, but I think Davis is a better short yardage option.

That's what I meant. 2nd or 3rd and 1-2 I will take a handoff to him.

Well, he definitely has a knack for finding the most congested area of the line and forcing his way into the middle of it. Davis is just as strong, more balanced, and has better vision. Much better short yard guy.

Tice reminds me of a freshman Shaw, who showed a LOT of promise before stalling out for a couple of years under Holtz. Glad he's back, he'll be a good mentor for Tice.

Pierre was a walk-on for a juco team that we had to red shirt. that right there shows how well skip recruited.
