Are those third deck seats uber cheap? I think we should fill the lower bowl first, then open the upper deck.

Student section looked fine on Saturday. Now, as the evening wore on...

No need to offer upper level or endzone when season ticket sales at 20k. We only had 28k season in 2008 so im not sure why they even offer upper level season tickets. Im fine with the upper level if they sell out the lower bowl first.

But it is already open. You can't change it now. And if you move people down having paid upper bowl price I don't think people who paid full price will be happy.

It would be interesting to know how many people get those $80 season tickets that are in the upper bowl. USF always tries to advertise the fact that their season tickets start at such a low price. It looks like their strategy is more about getting people to come to the game regardless of where they sit. If they close the upper bowl, this could hurt their marketing strategy with the cheap tickets.

I'm not saying that the market strategy is working because I have no clue and I'm in no position to say, but I could see this as being a reason why they would not want to close the upper bowl.

when things start going really south, I'm sure the next brilliant suggestion will be to just play in the soccer stadium (followed by let's get rid of football)

1 game in and the rats are abandoning the ship

ok-- so let me get this straight:

1) fire Woolard

2) stop paying FCS teams so much (replace with road games?)

3) close the third level

4) boo players

5) complain about what the school isn't doing that they promised to do

6) immediately start thinking our coaching staff needs to be replaced

I guess that all falls under the category of "DO SOMETHING" (stupid)

I agree with you ... But how much further south do we have to go before we are REALLY further south??

What about the people that have season tix on the 50 yd line in the first couple rows of the upper deck?  I probably wouldn't give up those seats to move into a corner of the lower bowl.

don't worry about it-- not happening this season (or probably at all) -- this thread is about as useful as posing the question " where will park at the new OCS?"

Or maybe we can just play on one of the open fields at MacDill ...
