when things start going really south, I'm sure the next brilliant suggestion will be to just play in the soccer stadium (followed by let's get rid of football)

1 game in and the rats are abandoning the ship

ok-- so let me get this straight:

1) fire Woolard
2) stop paying FCS teams so much (replace with road games?)
3) close the third level
4) boo players
5) complain about what the school isn't doing that they promised to do
6) immediately start thinking our coaching staff needs to be replaced

I guess that all falls under the category of "DO SOMETHING" (stupid)

So MikeG -- WHy would you leave the upper deck open?

How does it come anywhere close to the other items you put on that list...? How did you possibly relate this to those lol... Closing the upper bowl actually provides us benefits. More folks in the lower bowl would lead to a better atmosphere and better attendance appearance on TV.

Ho wis this abandoning the ship? Talk about over reaction. Nice to see you deleted the post.

Until we can sell out the lower bowl, we should not be selling tickets in the upper bowl.

Big Red is waaaaaay too big for our program. At our core we have about 15K core diehard fans, and 12K students = 27K fans. We need a smaller 40K stadium that better fits out fan base.

I'm not talking about band wagon fans... I'm talking real fans.

the tickets are already sold

if you expect some miracle response by the ticket office to somehow relocate all those people into equitable seats in the lower bowl --- well you are not being realistic.

the seats are red, we have a pirate ship in our endzone,  people boo, the world is coming to an end as we know it. poor USF-- we should just change our colors to Red and become the USF Pirates-- then you wouldn't have anything to complain about-- oh wait-- I bet you would

I have 2 of those upper level tickets and If they were not $80 bucks a piece then i would be watching the games from home.   I also have to buy 2 airline tickets and 2 nights in a hotel for each game, so this adds up pretty quickly.    I spend about 500 bucks each game.  If I stay home I just spend 50 bucks at Meehans with the atlanta alumni group.

for another $270(per ticket) plus a hefty Bulls Club donation you could be sitting in style in the lower level -- wear grey, it pisses off these guys. Red seats are for the prolitariat (aka lesser fans)

$80? where are those seats?
