There was how many people up there? It makes no sense, we aren't coming close to packing the lower one.

Oh -- and reduce the # of student tix

What about the people who bought tix there already? Why reduce student tix?? Completely disagree with both ideas.

Why would you reduce the student tickets, they were probably half the crowd Saturday

I agree with closing the upper bowl. There is no point of having it open for 100-200 people. Relocate ticket holders to the lower levels.

Seems our lease includes it.

We'll be better and the demand will rise ... To the upper deck.

Student section looked great on Saturday. They made us look halfway decent as a crowd

Massive sections are unfilled in the corners... just take a corner and sell those or use it to relo from upper bowl.

Not the worst idea. It does look ridiculously red on TV.

Agree with both.

We should only open it when the lower bowl has been filled. Crowd looks sparsed out otherwise. Not a good look.

As for the students, the lower bowl always sells well; at least at the start of the season before the wheels fall off. The thing is, once the lower bowl is filled, most students hang around the pirate ship and watch from there. I didnt even know those corner sections on the sides were student seats until after I graduated. There no point in having them. They could open those up to sell. Obviously, part of the catch is that we have the most student seats in the conference, but I agree with OP. Something should change.

Oh and mic the band.
