It was mentioned earlier in this thread (and I believe another thread that I can't recall) that season ticket holders would be receiving a "regulation" bag for every two tickets. Has anybody actually heard anything from athletics or received their bag(s) now that we're 3 days away from game day?

 

 

I just sent a tweet to @usfathletics inquiring about the bags.

I just sent an email to my ticket rep and he said that we season ticket holders are supposed to be receiving clear bags but he didn't have confirmation that they have been mailed yet.

OK, here is the response when I asked if diaper bags would also be excluded:

Yes ,you will have to use a clear bag for all of your articles.

So, they are selling family section tickets again I presume but you can't bring your family.  Brilliant.  The terrorists have won.

 

This has been my main beef... now that I have a child I can't go to nearly as many games as I want to... its either go by myself and have a good time alone, or sit at home with my family and watch the game.

 

This also has nothing to do with security and has everything to do with trying to stop fans from smuggling in their own beer, and their legally owned concealed weapons. Meanwhile a dude with a vest strapped with explosives concealed with a baggy football jersey can easily walk in with no issues.

 

We need a stadium of our own.

The bags are plenty big enough to bring what you need for a kid/baby ... Quit yer ******* whining!

Are you ******* serious? You can't legally bring a concealed weapon into RJS no matter what. Not sure if you have a CWP... but if you do read the freaking statute. It's crap like this that gives the rest of us law abiding CWP holders a bad rap. **** pisses me off.

Correct. And as stated above, the clear bags have more than enough space to make up for a lack of a diaper bag.
