Yea, bc Dyer has so much to prove to you Databull. That MVP honor, back to back 2k rushing seasons and NC title ring really sound like busts to me.

Your bonehead comments are tiresome. Ford and Dyer are two different people, if you haven't noticed.

Guess we should send that 5 star deadbeat Lynch back too according to you.

Yeah, and if your dog dies, it's because nothing good ever happens here.

Now, THAT's funny!

Pretty sure this kid was the offensive MVP in the National Championship he won and has had 2 consecutive 1,000 yard rushing seasons. He and Ford are very different.

I read the same level of optimism when Ford came on board.  And lots of other guys.  I'll let CWT do his job and get the best available talent.   I'll get excited about the players that actually produce, not the ones I imagine will produce in my mind.  Lots of five stars bust, lots of two stars shine.

Prove it.

The point was...Dyer has ALREADY produced at the highest stage in college football.  Ford never did.  Dyer will still have to produce for us (or whoever), but it's not like he's a 5 star HS and no one knows if he can succeed in college.  This guy is a likely NFL player, if he plays & acts smart.  He's not Ford, or Aycock...or even D Scott.

Bulls, no fighting among ourselves, please...

We are on the same side. Do remember that.

This guy, if he comes to USF, is going to help us. Period.

I like how things are very quiet on the news front. This bodes well for us.

Dyer is a proven talent, leave it to Taggart to know if this is worth it.   Trust me, he has contacts into the NFL, this guy wants the payout so I think he has learned his lesson.

With our conference demotion, I'm ready to accept the fact that athletes with checkered pasts will have a much more "arms-open" acceptance here at USF. I'm confident in Coach Taggart's ability to analyze each individual athlete's situation and determine whether the athlete can be kept on a short rope and whether such athlete can provide USF with a better chance to win the AAC. The kid will get his opportunity, if Coach Taggart deems it, if not, then he'll be kicked off the team faster than you can say "Trent Pupello has been accused of pistol whipping someone."

Oh, the horror!  I suggested a player should actually prove they can follow team rules and produce on the field before anointing them the savior.

Shockingly high standards I have.
