So you don't think we'd ever, in existence, need to expand the stadium if we built one? Can you tell the future? What are tonight's lotto numbers?

NO, I don't think that we'll EVER need a 70k+ seat stadium. Only 21 teams need one NOW! Either way, my existence will most likely not last more than 60 years. So, in my world. We will NEVER need a 70K+ seats stadium. BTW why are you such a .....?

I agree, we will NEVER need a 70K+ seat stadium on campus... not even FSU uses all of their 85K seats in the Doak. Most we would ever need is 55K. Sure there will be big games where we could fill up a 70K+ stadium, but those will be far and few between.

How many times have we sold out RayJay over the past 16 years? Once... Twice...

I'd rather there be 1 or 2 games a year that we sell out and create more demand. Sure, it might drive up ticket prices a bit, but that also helps the bottom line (and I don't see it getting to where nosebleeds are $75+ a game).

Let's build a 50K horseshoe

South of the SunDome

with the open end facing the Muma center (I've realized you can't see downtown very well from Fowler anyways)

single level bowl with 2nd deck on west side with press boxes and luxury suites (also gives the shade in afternoon)

build with foundation to support expansion up to 70K so we don't have to completely reinvent and waste money if there's another expansion, but probably won't need it for a long time if ever

Hey I'm not saying we are going to need a 70k stadium in the next 20-40 years, I'm just saying that NOBODY can tell the future.

The world could end before that due to an asteroid or nuclear war. Is it likely? No. Will it never ever happen? Can't say...

I like this idea. A few things I'd add.

Put the visitors on the east

Chairbacks from the 30 to the 30, only on home side, rest are bleacherseats

Make it steep so the sound focuses on the field.

Make the bleacherseats and chairbacks hollow so they ring like cowbells

Must be easy to close the horseshoe and make a bowl when necessary. Same for adding a second level to the east side.

Front row seats need to be close to the field so nobody gets hurt when the field is rushed (you KNOW it will be, so prepare in advance)

USF should follow the Orlando school's model for an OCS.

You lost me right there.

USF should LEAD Orlando school, and be the model for them.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
