Maybe the kid wants to get out of the city? Attend one of the top public universities in the country? Play at Ohio State, Michigan, and make a trip down to Tampa to play USF? Also, I take it you've never actually been on the campus, its pretty nice.

 

I can see the draw. He may very well want to stay home and build something special in his hometown, but if he wants something different for his college experience (and isn't getting a top tier B1G offer to play football), he could do a hell of a lot worse than a free education from IU.

Indiana!

Vs bikinis nearly year round, sunshine, pools, beaches and theme parks....

USF will rise to the top of the AAC. These guys will still make the NFL. Great mentor and hopefully turns out to be a great coach in Taggart and close to friends and family.

USF anyday over Indiana (though I don't know anything about Indiana).

He Tweeted that he had committed and then it was refuted by a pay site(not premium content) and BCP(who said they had talked to him). Not sure I would call it a commit and decommit, he might have just been playing a game, or got ahead of himself.
