It's be nice if they'd add a football program that hadn't won a conference title so we wouldn't stick out so much ....

Like Army or UMass. 

Yeah both suck on the field, but  they bring in TV markets( National following with Army , they also have Armed forces network, and play a rivalry game with Navy which draws alot of eyeballs)  UMass brings the Boston market.

 

Both are  pretty close to UConn, Temple, Navy and Not that far from ECU. 

 

Again they suck on the field but Tulsa isnt bringing a "gotta have in the conference"  kinda of team either.

 

And if we want to help a program grow like we did and want to keep it close to the East coast schools Char could be considered. They are building the OCS,  they would be a natural rivalry for ECU, Close drive for East coast schools in a decent TV market.

 

 

Might help us keep the Belk Bowl having Char and ECU in the mix.

 Tulsa beat UCF TWICE and a Big 12 team in their bowl game last season. Don't knock them. They ended the season #25 on the USA Today Poll.

TV markets mean zilch...did you not see our new TV contract? Unlike simply providing another large TV market where the school has zero presence, why not add a school that has had success?

Tulsa is a better add than Tulane.
