It takes time, wins and championships for perceptions to change.

We could probably beat them. Any candidates? I can see it now.... ESPN 30 for 30 Presents: South Florida vs. Texas Woman's University - the RACE to the ACC. A couple of us Bullspenners were prolly around in 1946, but not me. I'm just glad we won't have to contend with Thursday night games against Speilman. Atlanta's nice...but those Speilman fans leave a lot to be desired...keying cars, turning over trash cans...and the players, gouging eyes! I won't be missing it. And just to be clear...when you're in your fifties, that "long term view of the program" doesn't really pay dividends. Hard to get enthusiastic about the 2060 Bulls when you'll be running a worm farm.

We're half way through it! Seen rapid progress and rapid decline.
