What do we do with $25M?

This is the best news I have seen in forever.

 

Here is what we need to do first (in my opinion):

 

Pay Skip Holtz (not all at once, but put aside the money to make the required payments of $.5 per year/5 years.

Pay Jim Leavitt if that is not complete.

Pay down the debt on all the new facilities (at least $10 million of it).

Put $6 million aside to add to our tv money at the rate of $1 million a year.

 

If there is anything left, then look at the indoor practice facility.

The estimate is 18-25...and yes, it's paid over years.

Pretty darn close for back of the napkin without knowing how they were gonna treat incoming and the payola to the citizens of providence retirement fund. Oh and there is $68.8 million already in the bank. Not gonna be that long all the payments are due before 2014 I believe.

+1 to this...not just a recruiting tool and good necessity for FL sports teams.  Bank the rest for other important needs that will come up

Hate to make this political, but with hyperinflation and our U.S. dollar depreciating every year, i say we spend the money NOW.  pay off our debts on former coaches salaries and built facilities
