Pay off Skip, and save some for a rainy day.

 

Are the Sun Dome renovations completely paid off? I honestly don't know.

 

I'm not sure we need to spend $14 mil. on an indoor athletic facility right now.

I love it. The 7 year TV deal is worth $130 MM for 12 teams for 7 years. The exit fees are net $72MM+ for 3 teams payable within the next 2 years. We make 20 years of facacta TV revenue immediately. Too funnyt. The laws of unintended consequences.

+1 Bank it and pay things off, because there is still a few months before the NBE (whatever it is called) gets stabilized on July 1st.

An indoor athletic facility is something that can be put off because it's a recruiting tool and in NBE, USF should be top 1-3 every year in that category.

It can be used later for a buyout which is now $10mil and 27 months, to cover future budgets since NBE did not get the money it was expecting, and some future small renovations 500k-$2 mil.

Deposit the check.  Pull up the bank account online.  Stare at the numbers.  And then laugh at the thought that violation programs like Purdue and Iowa State get checks like this every year.

 

 

Which bring me to my real opinion. . . . . .SAVE IT!!!!
