He's been way off in Big East play. Played 17 minutes last night and had the one three pointer. I think he went 0-7 from beyond the arc vs Seton Hall. Maybe we need to release a bat in the sun dome for some positive mojo. Edited January 29, 2013 by bullwark 3.

I know, football wise, we'd like to think that we're going to be somewhat more successful than we were during our foray into BCSland, but will it matter much for basketball? The BE, being one of the better basketball conferences, could account for our lack of success, but I don't recall us blistering the courts in our original CUSA days either. Breedwell Posted January 29, 2013 Group: Member Topic Count: 8 Content Count: 863 Reputation: 96 Days Won: 1 Joined: 11/20/2012 Share Posted January 29, 2013 We have shown game in and game out that we can compete with a chance to win (a solid chance) against top 25 talent. The only game that was not in question so far with the Big East was Louisville. Ugly goes to Fitzpatrick. From the get go, he was terrible at guarding the paint, terrible at crashing the boards, wasn't shooting well from the perimeter, and he is such a bad post presence that we had GUARDS posting up instead of him. I believe that he is a liability overall. He's not playing with any gusto at all.

Sure, we'll be able to compete - at least with the current and incoming talent. The real question is will we still be able to recruit. If we can no longer recruit BE-level talent, then, no, we will nto be able to compete.
