I saw Spirt fly's pretty cheap there, is it best to stay in E Lansing or is there a neighboring city that might be better?

Beware, Spirit may look cheap for the flight, but they nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING else (checked and carryon baggage, etc.)

I'll be there with family as our Midwest game trip each year.  Stay with family in Ohio for a game each year - in the past Ball State, ND, Pitt and Cincy so this year MSU.  Will be meeting a Bull alumni friend who lives in Detroit.  Hope we make it a respectable showing.

I'm fully aware of that. I was cracking a joke, probably a bad one, but a joke none the less. And I was actually slightly inebriated at the time. I know this place is losing it's sense of humor, but I didn't think it was completely gone, yet.

 

BTW, I'm glad I saw the pic back when steve first posted that link, cause it's broken, now.
