Ducks' offense: tasty! Will we ever see that at USF?

I remember the Sun Bowl. Yikes!

I want what the Ducks got cooking. I would be tickled if USF ever played like that on offense.

I have never payed attention to Stanford. Is it anything like that?

No, but Stanford beat Oregon this year.

It's a gimmick and has not won championships. I'll pass.

That "gimmick" has lead to 4 straight BCS games and only 7 losses in the last 4 seasons combined. I know we will be running a pro style offense with Coach T, but if USF's offense ever resembled Oregon's, I wouldn't complain for a second.

I totally agree! That offense will never win a National Championship!! The closest they will ever come is a freak non-tackle against Matt Dyes in the National Title game against the SEC...

Oregon would probably have a national title if it wasn't for them playing against a bought and paid for, once-in-a-generation type player like Cam Newton.

Well, Oregon would have crushed Auburn sans Cam Newton, but without Cam Auburn would have never gotten there. They would have had to play either TCU, who was 12-0 and ended up beating Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl or the SEC would have shaken out differently and another SEC team might have emerged.

It's more likely that had the Auburn running back Dyes been tackled in stead of a Grothe-esque escape, they would/could have won.

Since Chip Kelly's "gimmick" offense:

2009 PAC-10 Champions

2010 PAC-10 Champions

2011 Pac-12 Champions

Sucks to be them.

I remember the Sun Bowel too. That's why I have an Oregon duck on my head. Even though that's not me
