Matt Hayes , Sporting News, Tweeted two hours ago the Vols should go for Taggert. Doesn't mean it has legs but who knows.

I can't Imagine Tennessee could sell the boosters and fan base on Taggart. Coming right after Dooley it's probably too easy to draw parallels between the two.

TN has fallen bigtime, they can't recruit like they did with Fulmer. Maybe Taggert worth the risk with his FL ties.

That was my first thought too. Like if USF hired East Carolina's current coach to replace Holtz, or hired some other mid-level coach who is the son of a legend ... like Dooley.

If that's what you think of Taggart, then you're name fits perfectly.

Zinger. I know facts. Facts are he is 16-20 and has a butt load of 2 star recruits. But you... you get high on conjecture.

It's the Sun Belt. They were on a 26 game losing streak before he got there and have won 14 games the past 2 years.You obviously don't know your facts too well...

But they didn't recruit 4 and 5 star players and go 12-0. Pass We can do better

He has one four star recruit this year. They also only lost to Alabama by 35. Seems Alabama could have dropped 70 on us this year.
