I wish I had those connections.....but I've read like 15-20 articles and tweets from high school coaches/players and peers all saying he is the best fit for us! Hopefully he will become our "saban"

Seems that it is all but a done deal... wku fans are all over twitter saying their goodbyes and mourning their loss already. I'm sure that this was a deal long before the season ended. Good for DW.

Right now you look aside his age, USF is a good job but right now it's in the third tier of jobs. (1st tier Bama, texas, etc 2nd schools like WVU, Michigan St, etc. 3rd USF, Colorado, etc. 4th Mac teams). Because the issues with the Big East and it's considered a rebuilding job now instead of someone taking over. Now taking someone like Taggart there is a risk he moves on in a couple of years for a second tier job, but with his local ties it makes it harder for him. Now if one of hose top tier programs come accept he helped rebuild your program and appreciate it. (RichRod to Michigan as UM is a top tier)

Taggarts biggest attribute right now is not about getting wins in next 2 seasons, it's about getting the mid tier Tampa bay recruits to build on in a few years. Taggart will see a lot of success like Strong at UL, and until that big school with major $$$$ for facilities and previous national championships come along get behind Taggart.
