It was good.

Seems the p a announcer was new. Younger sounding.

There was less stupid music.

Same idiot... he's good friends with the director of bands.... he's not going anywhere.

I knew there had to be some kind of blackmail or personal relationship there.

no ****** vocals. just a horn duo, then the band slowly came in in sections. it was the way it should be. with the fans singing it.

and the PA announcer definitely doesn't sound like the one from before, it does sound like a different voice. seemed to be handling it better too, but maybe the guy just isn't as keyed up since we've sucked so bad he can't really waste his time trying to hype things up.

The band's PA announcer remained the same as the past seasons. The PA announcer that was different was the play-by-play announcer. Whoever it was, I thought the new guy sounded good.

What did they do different with the National Anthem compared to other games?

Trumpet in each end zone. 1 plays the first 2 lines, other plays the next 2, both play the 5th line, the remainder of the trumpets come in for the sixth, and the whole of the band come in on the remaining 2.

I think I got that right. Anyway, it was fantastic.
