When you score 30+ points and don't win, let me give you a hint: FIRE YOUR DEFENSIVE CO-ORDINATOR-YOUR D-BACKFIELD COACH AND YOUR DEFENSIVE LINE COACH! Not all AD's are like Woolard and are going to keep paying for non-performance!

If I wake up tomorrow, late mind you after a bender tonight, and Cosh is reportedly fired, it's the only way I'll have some faith restored in Holtz.

Holtz is a tool. Imagine how much better (!!) Lamar would be if he weren't wasted at WR all those years. Or, how much better our secondary could be if TRex developed as a CB. Instead, we made incredibly shortsighted moves to fill in gaps at WR where we're now stacked, and missing starting caliber players at the positions they were taken from. Yay!

THIS X1000000

Night guys.

My only issue is so yeah, lets say he fires Cosh. Whoopdee f*ckin do. He's got a scapegoat and gets a clean slate. The problems run so much deeper than that. It will buy him time but who has confidence in his ability hire somebody and right this ship? He's in over his head.

Bulls247 â€@Bulls247

This is the first time Holtz has really emphasized "changes" after a loss. I get the feeling he was talking about coaching.

Feels like Cosh is a goner come tomorrow.

it's holtz scheme. cosh runs it. he coaches not to lose. that's why we play prevent on 3rd and longs and end of game. he never gambles. never brings pressure in key situations. there is a reason our secondary looks so bad and it' s because we expect them to cover for 6+ seconds while our d line gets no pressure. if you can't get there with 4 then bring 5 or 6. give him 2 seconds . not 6 to let a deep out develop 2 or 3 times on last drive. disgusting.

Pathetic. This loss was horrible. Leading most of the game and to lose it at the end by one point is just terrible.

It was homecoming. Welcome back alumni to this crushing and horrific loss.

Woolard needs to strip Holtz of anything related to defense. It may take firing all of the coaches on that side of the ball and bringing in someone as the assistant head coach and defensive coordinator who will bring in their staff. It will be rather contentious but Skip is running out of options and I am not sure Woolard can afford to let this ship continue to sail in this direction.

I'm not holding my breath for any dismissals tonight.

HOLTZ wont be able to hire a worthy replacement for Cosh anyway.

Who would want to work for HOLTZ, who if by any luck he survives this year, will surely be fired next year.

FIRE HOLTZ
