Its hard to complete 8 out of 10 passes in practice! How pathetic!

L'Ville had at least two dropped passes where the wr was wide open too.

Do you remember a pass that we had a shot at an INT?

or

When was the last time USF almost intercepted a pass?

In the Temple game, a ball hit Forte (I think) in the chest. That's about as close as we've gotten this season.

This doesn't surprise me one bit, we knew out biggest weakness going into the season was the secondary and it's playing out that way, no picks, ridiculous completion %. I think we are barking up the wrong tree fault wise here. We are focusing on moving linebackers around and completely ignoring the lack of capability in the secondary.

82.2%

That is the completion percentage against the defense the last 2 games

Temple 16/20 = 80%

L'Ville 21/25 = 84%

It is a simple miracle that we have even been close in these games. I am really curious as to the breakdown (grid format) of where these completions were made. My guess would be that the majority of them are in the 15-20 yard range in the middle of the field.

Take away the Rutgers game where Nova, the worst QB in the BE, got 53.5% efficiency but our QB was worse than him, and this team has allowed all opposing passers from FBS programs to reach 73.8% completions. Staggering ineptitude in our secondary, absolute ineptitude. But lets all not think that its just the secondary, our front seven have allowed an average of 186.7 yards/game from Nevada thru Louisville on the ground. There lowest total was 128 yards against UL but they also gave up an 84% completion percentage, so why the hell would you run if you were UL?

These numbers will look great on Cosh's resume.

Oh and Temple, friggin Temple is where our defense bent over and said do me like your prom date: 216 yards on the ground and 80% completion ratio to a horrible QB.
