Genshaft doesn't play when it comes to PR.

This may be true Really? If there is one thing Skippy does right, to a fault it would appear, is that he is a players coach. I would be shocked to hear that the players have turned on him. We really need some top coordinators in this program for Skipper to let loose. The biggest problem has been the defense... I don't know what is up with these players, it's like they have no self respect, they don't even put in effort. We should be 4-2 at the very worst and would be if the defense put in 110%, but it looks like they're only giving 2%.

If I recall correctly, the year before McCullum was fired, Woolard came out with a similar statement about not evaluating the situation until after the year. As things started to get louder toward the end of the year Woolard changed his policy and made a public statement that McCullum would be back the next year. The year that he finally was let go, I believe Woolard made no public comments until after the season. Let's see what happens in the next 4 games. If we lose all 4 or 3 out of 4 and don't get a public response from Woolard before game 11 I think Skip is gone. If As the noise gets louder Woolard will need to make a public vote of confidence that they will keep him or if there is silence after game 10 I think that's a sign he is gone. The public noise level will rise now with every loss.

Really........... Why would they go after him after last years performance. People at the level that are searching for head coaches, by nature, don't tend to be as myopic as fans are .. Seems like a broad brush there Triple B. I can think of several dumb coaching seaches. The last two coaching searches by the Buccaneers didn't seem too particularly brilliant. I would restate that as "People at the level that are searching for head coaches, by nature, think they aren't as myopic as fans are but that isn't oftentimes the case." Objection sustained ...
