Skip is out of touch. he's tonedeaf. he thinks we want to hear excuses or platitudes when all that is irrelevant now.

he has to show passion for this program and a plan for its growth. he has shown neither.

losing on the field is one thing, but Skip provides ZERO confidence that it will ever get better.

HE doesn't seem to care, which means he probably didn't care enough to plan for anything other than the size of his bank account.

if he were winning i'd say WGAF about his motives or intent, but we are losing as many games as we ever have while he is earning more money than he ever has.

that is the biggest problem.

have we reached rock bottom? no. obviously it can get worse. we could be 0-4. but to quote Skip, "we're 2 plays away" from it.

Actually I think he does care. I just don't think he knows a way out of this. That's two different things, but same end result.

I guarantee skip cares.

My guess is he took this job knowing it would be an easy path to land a huge job...

BCS conference, FL recruiting, big paycheck... Easy.

Except hea a bad coach.

I don't think this is how skip saw his career playing out. He's nothing if he doesn't win here.

This whole mentality falls in line with the fans who were bringing up the idea of the Orange Bowl after Nevada. No one knows how we'll do. We're good enough to play Rutgers close. For all we know we could blow off 4-5 straight wins.

Rutgers Sucks and you should stop this..... I am embrassed to be a fan

This is the truth. We did play Rutgers close, but it's because they are also an awful football team. They just haven't played anyone.

We played Florida State Close and guess what? They lost to a bad NC State team.

Sagarin still has USF ranked ahead of Connecticut, Pittsburgh, and Syracuse. We should be in all three of those games. There's a little light still at the end of the tunnel, but not much.

71 South Florida A = 69.38 2 4 71.68( 32) 0 0 | 0 1 | 67.60 75 | 69.55 69

73 Connecticut A = 69.21 3 3 65.50( 83) 0 0 | 0 0 | 68.09 73 | 69.25 71

76 Pittsburgh A = 68.99 2 3 65.90( 78) 0 0 | 0 1 | 66.45 83 | 69.31 70

80 Syracuse A = 67.40 2 3 70.68( 38) 0 1 | 0 1 | 66.47 82 | 67.41 79

I agree. I hope he figures something out during the bye week. He needs to take some sort of corrective action to stop the bleeding and show the fan base that actions are being taken.

Something has to be done on defense. We could be 5-1 right now if our defense could stop any one. Sure our offense is not great, but fixing the defense is our first priority, and it would produce immediate results.

It will be hard to top a 14 game stretch where we are 3-11 with wins over Chattanooga, a 5-7 Cuse team, and a miracle win over a Mountain West team. And its very likely to turn into a 3-12 stretch (including a 1-9 conference stretch) in a little less than two weeks. If thats not rock bottom, well, then I don't even know what to say...
