This.

Make it happen. Should fired Leavitt sooner and got Strong before the Ville

You know Strong would have come here too. With his Florida inroads, he could dominate here. Agreed, when the Ville hired him, Leavitt was still employed, but thinking about it after he got canned, I wish Strong had been available.

Petrino was fired for lying. America will soon forget this and hire the man. Nebraska, Tennessee, etc will all be after this guy.

What I'm saying is, he's not coming here.

Pass on Petrino. He's been garbage in Atlanta, now Arkansas. Not saying we need another guy like Skip, nice, but can't coach, but not a total dirtbag either.

Who else realistic is out there?

Jim Tressell

Houston Nutt

Jim Leavitt

Randy Edsall (after this year)

not that we could afford Jim Tressel but if that somehow ever happened I would be giddy as a school girl. guy can coach with the best of them and he would be able to recruit well just on name alone.

Tressell would be a great coach, but I was throwing out those names in jest.

I was in Leavitt's camp, and can't tell you how much I miss his passion; but, it is totally unrealistic to think Holtz would be fired anytime soon (considering his huge extension he signed).

I'm trying as hard as I can to hold onto some sort of faith in this guy. If he can't put together a successful campaign with Woulard at QB in his first 2 years he should be fired.

The only positive I can take out of this year, is that Doug Woulard's contract is now highly incentive based; hopefully that will help push Holtz in the right directions (especially in regards to how he manages his coordinators cosh and fitch).

No thanks on Petrino. Good coach, but will only be here for 3 years at most and then leave during the season or before the bowl game. Pass

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
